Summary
[edit]Description116 series germanium ICs 05.jpg |
English: The 102 series of integrated circuits were, arguably, the first Soviet integrated circuits (1962), and they used not silicon but germanium. The "heart" of the series was a germanium dual pnp-transistor with an integrated germanium collector load, serving as a logic switch. By 1965 the series evolved into a more or less complete logic family packaged into flat metal cans. It was widely used in Soviet avionics, particularly the IL-76 systems, and was manufactured into the 1990s to suit aircraft production. |
