[edit]- Shield: Per chevron reversed Sanguine and Argent, in chief the skull and horns of a longhorn steer of the second, in base a conventionalized poppy and a fleur-de-lis of the first.
- Crest: Maroon and white are the colors of the Medical Department.
- Motto: "Auxilium Semper Adest" ("Help Always Ready")
Symbolism
[edit]- Shield: The skull and horns of the Texas Longhorn represent service on the Mexican Border, and the poppy and fleur-de-lis symbolize service in Flanders and in France, respectively, during World War I.

[edit]The coat of arms was originally approved on 16 January 1968 and cancelled on 7 October 1974. The coat of arms was redesignated for the 112th Medical Battalion effective 01 September 2023.
