| Description |
The peak summer timetable in Romania which is largely centred around additional trains from all parts of the country to the Black Sea coast was scheduled to finish the weekend before I arrived. However, it was extended meaning a better choice of trains, mainly loco hauled through to Mangalia. Seen here at Constanța on 9 September 2021 is 640944 backing on to train IR1581, 07:10 București Nord to Constanța when then went on to form train R8385, 09:45 Constanța to Mangalia so effectively through train. Double headed power was provided with 661326 which can be seen to the left. |
