Description
English: Standard New York City Subway Helvetica sign for "138 Street" covering the original mosaics for "Mott Haven Avenue" at the 138th Street-Grand Concourse Subway station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx, New York City. The station was originally named "Mott Haven Avenue" station by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company, while the nearby 149th Street-Grand Concourse Subway station was named "Mott Avenue," and the former 138th Street New York Central Railroad station was named "Mott Haven" station.
