Description
English: This is a criminal judgement issued by the Linyi Intermediate People’s Court of Shandong, PR China, on 4 February 2024. The defendant in this case was found guilty of ‘inciting subversion of state power’ for setting up a blog site and publishing Xu Zhiyong’s essays on it. She was sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of three years and eight months with two years of deprivation of political rights. It should be noted that she was once placed under ‘residential surveillance at a designated location (RSDL)’ for 124 days, which can only be credited as 62 days of service, resulting in her actual term of imprisonment amounting to over three years and ten months (1,398 days in total).

中文:这是一份由山东省临沂市中级人民法院于 2024 年 2 月 4 日作出的煽动颠覆国家政权罪刑事判决书。其中的被告人因帮助许志永搭建个人博客并为其发布文章而被判犯有煽动颠覆国家政权罪,并被处以有期徒刑 3 年 8 个月、剥夺政治权利 2 年。值得注意的是,由于本案被告人曾被指定居所监视居住 124 天,而依据中国大陆地区现行法律,此段时间仅得折抵 62 天刑期,因此其实际刑期长达 3 年 10 个多月(共计 1,398 天)。
