中文:这是一份由江苏省扬州市扬州经济技术开发区人民法院于 2020 年 7 月 8 日作出的寻衅滋事罪刑事判决书。其中的被告人因「在 “Twitter” 上发布推文侮辱国家主要领导人,诋毁中国共产党,并恶意发表代表扬州人民支持台湾独立、支持香港暴乱等言论」而被判犯有寻衅滋事罪,并被处以有期徒刑 1 年。

English: This is a criminal judgement issued by the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone People’s Court of Yangzhou, Jiangsu, PR China, on 8 July 2020. The defendant in this case was found guilty of ‘picking quarrels and provoking trouble’ for his tweets posted on Twitter that, according to the judgement, ‘insulted the main leaders of the state, defamed the Chinese Communist Party, as well as remarks maliciously published claiming that he, on behalf of the people of Yangzhou, supports the independence of Taiwan and the Hong Kong riots’. He was sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of one year.
