嶗山の山頂 （山東省） 泰山と併稱された山東省の名山は嶗山である。この山の極致を知るには約十日を費し、夫々の寢食の準備と案内人を要するが、自動車を利用すれば靑島より一日の行程である。全山花崗岩で、樹林はないが、淸澄の流水、翠巒重疊として連なり、山頂は神斧鬼鑿の妙景、脚下に雲を踏むの氣、實に快絕の聲を放たざるを得ず、更に古刹寺廟多く登山者の興趣は盡きないところである。
