大境門の景 （張家口）

支那の何處の舊都にもある如く張家口も城壁をめぐらして城内と城外を判つきり區別してゐて城内外の連絡は東西南北と云つたやうに四つ或は八つの門に限られてゐる。これは張家口市街の北の通路にあたつてゐる大境門である。仰ぐ城壁の「大好河山」の偏額は何を物語つてゐるか知らないか、門外左右兩側に列ぶ民家の屋根に生えた夏草を見ればこの市街の善さも伺はれるしまた見透す城内の殷賑も想像出來る｜（印畫の複製を禁ず）
