Description	日本語: ●蘇州城内の鳥瞰（南支）城壁を一區劃として集團生活に慣らされた支那人は城内に芋のやうにこすり合つて、隣接櫛比する穢雜渾沌の社會を形成するのを寧ろ誇りとして居るかに見江る。水鄕蘇州は古來一水一橋悉く詩情をそゝる都市として名高い。併も水の流れと人の身の上に或る運命觀でも有して居るかに見江る蘇州人は、此の黑瓦白壁の中に生れてはまた死んで行くことだろう。兎角人間は此の密集された都會の光景を鳥瞰する每に、相互ひに自分の墓場を築いて居るやうな感じを懷く、舊い支那の城内に對して其感が最も深い。（印畫の複製を嚴禁す）
