Description
Русский: Lepocinclis oxyuris относится к отряду эвгленовых. Они имеют смешанный тип питания, На свету он питается подобно зеленому растению благодаря множеству хлоропластов внутри клетки, их хорошо видно на видео. При отсутствии света Lepocinclis не имеет возможности синтезировать углеводы и питается органическими веществами, которые он воспринимает осмотически. Также внутри клетки можно разглядеть два больших продолговатых образования, это так называемые парамиловые зерна, они накапливают крахмал который служит дополнительным источником энергии в отсутствии света. В одном конце клетки можно рассмотреть красное пятно - это стигма (глазок). Наличие стигмы обусловливает способность организма к фототаксису
