English: : Staircase. 'Baker house' named after former Royal Waffle Factory / Urbanek bakery located here, also the Horváth Café was a favourite meeting place, later a hat factory was here. Built in 1911 according plans of Dezső (Berger) Benedek. - 26 Batthyány street, Várkerület, Budapest. Magyar: : Lépcsőház. L alkú lakóépület a földszintjén boltokkal. Vállalkozások a 'Pékház' -ban: az egykori Royal ostyagyár (fagylaltölcséreiröl volt híres) majd Horváth kávéház/Bakonyi Péter vendéglője/bosnyák kávézó, Virág Jenő szabászat, és Meszanek Teréz kalapgyára is volt. Paupert Xavér szatócsüzlete az elsők között nyitott. Urbanek pékség. Lakók: Lovászy Márton a Károlyi kormány kultuszminisztere,Cenner Mihály és Császár Edit színháztörténészek, id. Laurisin Miklós táblai tanácselnök; Németh László író, Kardeván Károly irodalomtörténész, Illés Vilmos miniszteri tanácsos, Feszty Gizella Feszty Árpád felesége, Asztalos Lajos (1920–1983) gépészmérnök. Tervező: Benedek (Berger) Dezső. Építés éve: 1911. Építtető: Hoffmann Alfréd és Csillag József.
