Bertha Stanfield (1890-1926) was from Kansas and composed three good rags, including this nice folk rag. She composed several other pieces, including the patriotic march "America's Pinch Hit March" in 1919 as Bertha Stanfield Dempsey. She died at age 36 of tuberculosis. This rag was published by Bertha Stanfield in Baxter Springs, Kansas in 1912.

Many thanks to Mitchy for finding and sharing this rare score. It comes from the collection of Ragtime Dorian Henry whose YouTube channel is at this link: https://www.youtube.com/@RagtimeDorianHenry

I have posted the copy of the original score at this link: https://mega.nz/file/eJJGAbob#_lgeJxWZrDBAE0wN14gw62hHqmpdGeY7OkOoG_32y8M This is a reproduction of the original score. I have added accidentals where they were missing from the original. Also added repeat bars at Mitchy's suggestion, the original has no repeats.
