"Dedicated to Roger Bresnahan and his "Wrecking Crew" the St. Louis Cardinals". To anyone out there who happens to be in possession of a good copy of this original score, it might be worth some money as a baseball memorabilia collector's item. (Current asking price on eBay is $1,600). The cover features pictures of the team members of the 1911 St. Louis Cardinals, led by manager and catcher Roger Bresnahan. For the record, the Cardinals finished in fifth place (out of eight teams) in the National League season that year.

This was Arthur Sizemore's best-known rag, an interesting slow drag, published in St. Louis by Stark Music Co. in 1911. John Stark had just moved back to St. Louis from New York after parting ways with Scott Joplin but retaining ties with James Scott. Sizemore wrote several rags and later was a successful songwriter who settled in Chicago.

Original score source was from Indiana Univeresity at this link: https://fedora.dlib.indiana.edu/fedora/get/iudl:368462/OVERVIEW This is a reproduction of the original score. Several corrections were made.

Many thanks to JohnJ1995 of Musescore for suggesting this interesting rag.
