I decided it was time to go back and take another look at a composer I very much admire, Carlotta Williamson. She was a child prodigy at the piano and published perhaps two dozen scores through her husband's printing business. I find her composing to be creative and interesting. This is a delightful but apparently forgotten piece that is an arranger's dream (or bad dream if you don't like some work). The tempo shifts many times creating interesting effects. Published by Colonial Music Publishing Co. in Boston, Massachusetts in 1904. More Carlotta scores will follow this one.
