Rather than a rag I'd label this score as a patriotic victory march, celebrating Admiral George Dewey's major defeat of the Spanish fleet at Manila Bay in the Philippines in 1898. Another well-written score from Zellah Edith Sanders, the third of four in this series. Many thanks to JohnJ1995 for recommending these and providing links to the originals.

Original score source was from the Charles Templeton Sheet Music Collection at Mississippi State University at this link: https://scholarsjunction.msstate.edu/cht-sheet-music/12786/ This is a reproduction of the original. I've eliminated the repeat bars and added 9 measures of the repeat played an octave higher in the right hand in both plays of the A strain, for more accurate playback.

Score #211 in my current ongoing series "Women Ragtime Composers" featuring interesting selections written by ragtime era women. Still many more to go of these. Entire series is posted on YouTube at this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwk68P83iuhvxDlLI_-Yi4g/videos
