Eleanora Beauchamp Smith (1892-1981) was born and died in Kentucky. This brilliant folk rag is her only known published composition. It was included in the Nora Hulse CD "60 Years of Ragtime". According to Geoff Grainger, she probably trained as a concert pianist in Cincinnati, taught piano and voice and gave recitals. She died in Barren County, Kentucky at age 88 and was buried at Horse's Cave, Kentucky in 1981. This rag was published by George B. Jennings in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1913.

Many thanks to Musescore's JohnJ1995 for tracking down this original score. I have uploaded the original score copy at this link: https://mega.nz/file/CMwmDQDb#nUw3e1YYz8mTBbJY1ygmqy8Hs5TMPbJgixL3cgeiECs

This is a reproduction of the original score. This upload replaces an earlier one which featured this rag but not the original score. This rag was score #18 in my series "Women Ragtime Composers" which currently has 300 scores included. The entire series is at this link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWv_HHmWjvjVZnE2aBjiNbznXkmrtT5XD
