Description
English: Original listing and sheet music here: https://musescore.com/user/36482158/scores/20387263?from=youtube_share This interesting and jazzy fox trot was a collaborative work by two young composers who were still unknown but who both went on to songwriting careers. Cliff Hess (1891-1959) and Fred Ahlert (1892-1953) were based in New York and started out working for notable figures, Hess for Irving Berlin and Ahlert for Fred Waring. Ahlert eventually was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. This fox trot was popular and was recorded several times back in its day. It was published by Waterson, Berlin and Snyder in New York City in 1915.
