Commons social media - Instagram and Mastodon
[edit]Hello especially @NahidSultan and @Steinsplitter, as you are both listed as maintainers of the Wikicommons Instagram account and other social media accounts. I have noticed that the Wikicommons Instagram account is dormant. I would be interested in actively posting on both Instagram, and (co)creating/maintaining a Wikimedia Commons account on Mastodon, probably on the wikis.world instance. As the social-media mailing list is very dormant too, I am taking the freedom to post here. Would like to hear what you think/suggest! I will be either happy to post on these platforms by myself, or together with you, or to find other people who would co-maintain. All the best! Spinster (talk) 15:44, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
Unrelatedly, I'm curious what it means concretely that multiple people have access to the Twitter account, last active in 2021. It used to be possible to grant access to a team of users from TweetDeck, but those features have vanished in 2022 with the new management. Is access shared merely through a shared password and/or contact mailbox? Nemo 16:08, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
