Image missing: I am a bit amazed. I loades up the Image ' File:Anstrich nötig?.JPG ' for the challenge/2015 November, but I miss it in the votinglist. What could have happend?! --Elrond (talk) 17:31, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Elrond, I removed it from the challenge since it was uploaded on 22 September 2015, which is not during the Challenge month. The challenge is only open to newly uploaded images. Normally I try to notify people when their images are removed, but preparing the challenges last night took a long time and it was too late for me. -- Colin (talk) 19:47, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Elrond, when you upload an image, Commons has no way of knowing you are planning to enter a Photo Challenge. Some other competitions like Wiki Loves Monuments are better organised and have their own upload page. And to enter a challenge you just edit a page -- there isn't any fancy code that checks what you are doing is ok. So I have to check the entries at the end of the month when I prepare the voting pages. It would be nice to have a better system that made it easier to use and harder to make mistakes.
