Opt out

[edit]

As I have stated in a number of places, I have opted out the "License Migration" involuntary license change. (Again as I have stated repeatedly in multiple places, I would happily agree to add cc-by-sa-3.0 to the listed license option (if that license is not one of the listed options already) on the vast majority of my images IF I were asked. I do NOT consent to any change license of any of my copyrighted works that I have not personally authorized.) According to [1] "Infrogmation doesn't understand how to opt-out. " Point of order, I HAVE opted out, but am having trouble understanding how to get it recognized. Is there any place I am supposed to officially register? I haven't been able to find such a place either on Commons or Meta. I have left notices here on Commons in multiple places and one on Meta. I'm considering having a bot add {{License migration opt-out}} to all images of which I am the author, would that help? If I have to edit each and every of my self authored images by hand (I'd guess there are some 10,000 to 15,000 of them) that's what I'll do, but there are other things that seem much more productive I'd rather spend my time on Commons doing. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated. Thanks much. Infrogmation (talk) 17:01, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
