[edit]- Seems like a useful list. Perhaps add a column to provide a diff to the noticeboard where it was finalized. --99of9 (talk) 00:50, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
- This is helpful, in my opinion. Links to relevant COM:AN discussions (permalinks or archives) supporting the sanction should be provided, I think. --Walter Siegmund (talk) 00:54, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
- I copied the en.wp formatting; they use the "Special Enforcement Details" for that. I was thinking it would be clearer to have a separate column for it, so I've added one now. Rd232 (talk) 01:08, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

- If we have editing restrictions in the form of interaction bans it should be make clear that we should not treat minor edits (like category fixes) where the other user edited some time ago as violations. A significant amount of work at Commons consists of such maintenance edits where interactions are in many cases simply coincidental. --AFBorchert (talk) 22:42, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
- Listing any editing restrictions on a centralized page is definitely a good idea. That way people don't have to refer to previous lengthy discussions and try to figure out what the community consensus may have been there when the issue pops up again. There should probably also be a requirement that the user is notified about any enacted restrictions and pointed to this page. That could avoid cases where people later claim that there was no editing restriction or that they were not aware of it (recent example). Jafeluv (talk) 11:56, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- That's exactly my thinking. I expected notification to be an obvious thing to do, but perhaps it's better to be explicit; I've added a note. Rd232 (talk) 13:44, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
