How to tag all the affected images

[edit]

Moved from here

Comment From the last sentence, I take it this DR is intended to include the 1,300+ files in Category:PD-UN? I haven't closely followed a DR with this many affected files before, but looking over Commons:Deletion_requests/Mass_deletion_request it appears this DR is incomplete as the affected files have not been tagged nor the relevant uploaders notified. —RP88 06:03, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have asked Fastily if his automation account can help with that. LGA talkedits 07:05, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see why you'd need Fastiliy's assistance, just follow the instructions at Commons:Deletion_requests/Mass_deletion_request on using VisualFileChange.js. It can automate the creation of a mass DR. —RP88 07:20, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Now I did look at using VisualFileChange.js; but using the select all function only selects the images loaded and not all in the category, so of no help. LGA talkedits 07:24, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just load them all. I just now was able to load them all by raising the load amount to 100 and clicking "more" ~13 times. However, I'd encourage you to review them rather than just clicking select all. —RP88 07:40, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I will wait for Fastily's advice . LGA talkedits 07:45, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

NOT deprecated

[edit]

The entire premise for deprecating the UN tag is based on the "old" annex issuance which was superseded and then modified twice more. fwiw.... Here's the current administrative index (as of 2015, Part V. p. 34) and the history [in short] is summarized after each link...

Hope somebody over here takes the time to read these. -- George Orwell III (talk) 15:05, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
