So, which copyright law applies here? Georgia? Russia? They have their own law? Or other cases?

• This seems similar to Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Artsakh. Probably the self-proclaimed Republic of South Ossetia has adopted Russian laws, but we would need a source for that. Given the lack of international recognition, we would take the most pessimistic position: a work from South Ossetia has to be free under the republic's law and under Georgia law.
