I found this mysterious copyright law on OAPI's website
[edit]Here is the link: http://oapi.int/Ressources/documentsPLA/LOIS/ProjectoGuineeBissau.pdf This must be published between 2013 and 2014, since the first capture of OAPI's list of copyright laws (at https://web.archive.org/web/20140716025315/http://oapi.int/index.php/fr/propriete-intellectuelle/propriete-litteraire-et-artistique/lois) listed the law and as of 2013, there were no signs of the replacement of the old Copyright Code. However, the law does not have a number or date. Is it possible that this law has come into effect? Copyright terms (which have been shortened):
- General: Life + 50 years
- Posthoumous: Publish + 50 years
- Anonymous: Publish + 50 years
- Audiovisual works: Publish + 50 works
- Photographic works, applied art, and computer programs: Create + 25 years
The terms still run to the end of the year. Unfortunately, there is no FoP and there is a paying public domain (Article 27) Bsslover371 (talk) 04:28, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Bsslover371 perhaps a copyright revision bill? It is my suspicion since it does not have a date, and it is not listed in the WIPO Lex database (though sometimes the revised laws or amendments are either lately added in the database or not yet added there, like the case of Timor-Leste).
