Enough is enough

[edit]

Is an administrator going to pull Penyulap into line before this discussion goes completely off the rails. Personal and lengthy disparagement of everyone who disagrees with him/her on this matter shouldn't be acceptable. Why is he/she allowed to continue in this manner? -- Mattinbgn (talk) 20:57, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Penyulap notified here -- Mattinbgn (talk) 21:19, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

About 'the discussion', I started the discussion, "to discuss". That is what it's for.
Is there a particular comment that you feel is inappropriate ? or is it just the olde "Penyulap doesn't think and say what I want so that's what I mislabel disruptive" because it's not actually any policy you can point to. Not any personal attack, not anything impolite, not any lie of course, but simply an embarrassing exposure of people showing breathtaking bias for obvious reasons.
I remember they were chatting on TV today, about Edward Snowden and whistleblowers, and saying it's like there is a murder, and someone was there with a camera and filmed the villain kill the victim and calls the police, and then when the police arrive, instead of arresting the killer, who is their buddy, they arrest the cameraman.
The discussion I started, because I wanted to discuss the bad behavior of Bidgee, to discuss it with other people in a discussion to see what we as a community think about it seems to be clearly exposing a clear pattern of voting which involves admins and so on voting one way and the community voting the other.
The polarized voting that is being exposed is the obvious problem, obvious to any random commons contributor. "Unbelievable!" they call it.
So the solution to a murder is obviously to let a murderer go, and arrest the whistle-blower. Penyulap 21:31, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see on my talkpage you've made false and serious accusations about me, but I'm quite happy to work with you to clarify things. Your misunderstanding my remarks has obviously got you quite upset. Penyulap 21:37, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, I see what you're confused about, it all comes back to this part here, where you're saying I'm calling other people liars, and you give the wrong diff to back up the false claim you make.

" I am also deeply concerned with the motivation behind this request for de-sysopping and even more concerned about the highly confrontational approach taken by Fry1989 and Penyulap in this discussion. The need to respond aggressively and at length to every dissenting opinion (including calling those with differing opinions "liars"!) makes me very suspicious about the (lack of) good faith being shown by those two editors and the (lack of) objectivity in the case they have brought forth."

You are talking about Fry and I, and saying that we are calling people who have different opinions liars, but you only give one diff because it's impossible to diff me calling people liars because I don't. Then I think that confusing remark leads to all sorts of misunderstandings I think.

Do you stand by your comment, like, could you tell me where you think I've called anyone a liar please ? Penyulap 21:57, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your reply and your tone is noted. Your continued intimidation and threats towards me as a result of my !vote is noted. Again, I ask, is there an administrator willing to pull Penyulap up on this sort of behaviour or is this sort of behaviour tolerated here? -- Mattinbgn (talk)
You win, I'm out. -- Mattinbgn (talk) 22:22, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

{long sigh} I'm not trying to 'win', I am trying to understand.
