Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in Ethiopia
Wiki Loves Monuments is an international photographic campaign to promote historic sites around the World through Wikimedia projects (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). Everybody can participate. By submitting your photos, you share and help preserve the cultural heritage of Ethiopia!
During the campaign period, you may upload as many pictures as you want of cultural sites that you have visited. Pictures don't have to be taken during the time period, but must be uploaded during to be considered.

Rules
There are only a few rules for photos to participate in the contest in Ethiopia. Let's quickly go through them.
All entries must be your own work; do not manipulate original images and make sure that there is no visible watermarks.
All photos must be uploaded within October 20 to October 31 2024, to be eligible.
All photos must be under a free license.
Participants must have an active email account.
Lists of eligible sites are published below.
Captions and description are required.
Make sure that you are not uploading duplicate images.
All photos must have at least 2Mpx.
Next to that, there are a few practical rules and advice:

Name your photos well.
Upload images.
Do not forget to add categories to your picture – it will be helpful to everyone looking for it!

Photo criteria
Make sure the images you upload take into consideration the following criteria (in no particular order):
- Technical quality (sharpness, use of light, perspective, etc.);
- Originality;
- Usefulness of the image for Wikipedia.
But feel free to submit many images :)
