Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 in Nepal Wiki Loves Monuments is an international photo contest around cultural heritage monuments in September. Starting from the Netherlands in 2010, organized on a European level in 2011 and we went global in 2012. Everybody can participate and improve Wikipedia in their local and regional neigbourhood. Cultural heritage is everywhere around you, you just need to look and learn! See the Statistics!! In Nepal, the contest is organised with the objectives of getting many photographs of Monument sites in Nepal in the Wikimedia Commons, a media repository of which can be used and reused by everyone. Beginner, amateur photographers to professional photographers may participate in this contest. In every participating country you can win awards, and the best photos in each country continues to the international jury – which will select the best monument photos in 2013.
