Notes
[edit]MoM
[edit]- Grant should be directed to WMF.
- We discussed the grant fiscal sponsorship agreement draft. Problematic is the section about re-granting which is prohibited. We're looking into possible work-arounds, as is the WMF.
- We can not give sub grants, unless we get an exception or we find a different organisation willing to sponsor the programme. Think about a simplified procedure for requesting grants (contact Asaf?) or find a willing chapter (Israel? Germany? UK?)
Website
[edit]http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org/
- The former template is packagable, the current one not really so.
- There is some discussion about the look & feel of the new layout, and how much it can be fixed/changed.
- https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47674 is the bug related to this.
- We agree to continue with this tile structure, but quite a few fixes will have to be made. Tomasz will get in touch with Mono about it, and see how he feels about it.
- Feedback: color scheme, logo, explanation etc.
- UK: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49047
Partners
[edit]- Europeana: more info soon (special prizes: yes)
- Europa Nostra: interested, appointment soon (special prizes: yes)
- todo: INTO, WMF (World Monuments Fund), EHD
WHS
[edit]We discussed in the past to add the World Heritage Sites to the competition, independent of the country the monument is located in. Anyway, it won't happen unless someone transverses a set of Wikipedia pages of these sites into wikitables so that they can be inserted into the database.
Guinness World Record
[edit]Lodewijk is working on that.
Tech
[edit]- Someone from our team will need to talk to some from from WMF (Tomasz Finc ["tfinc" in irc], Brion, Yuvi) to make them understand some techinical difficulties related to the mobile app.
- Will need explain the workflow to the WMF.
Next meetings
[edit]We should probably move to a meeting once per week. If the time is a problem, Karthik can move up to finish time max 22:00 UTC. So start at max. 1930 UTC. Lets try out next week 1900 UTC, see if that works.
Action plans
[edit]- Karthik will mail WLM Taiwan team to find out if they wanna partner with organisations!
- Lodewijk get in touch with WMIL.
