Commons:Wiki Loves Africa 2024 in Rwanda
Wiki Loves Africa is an annual contest where anyone across Africa can contribute media that relates to that year's theme to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation. Wiki Loves Africa encourages participants to contribute media (photographs, video and audio) that illustrate the specific theme for that year. Each year the theme changes. Each year's theme is chosen by the community to be a universal, visually-rich and culturally-specific topics (for example, markets, rites of passage, festivals, public art, cuisine, natural history, urbanity, daily life, notable persons, etc).
You are encouraged to submit any photos of Africa Creates in Rwanda between 1st March to 30 April 2024. Take and Upload photos showing; creation, manufacture, and/or production of various items, objects,commodities,and products by Rwandans and win Prizes in Rwanda with the world through Wikimedia Commons.

How to Participate
Are you are in Rwanda? Find visual representations of the process of creation or manufacture, and not on the final product itself, take a photo and upload it to Wikimedia Commons.
Competition rules
Every Upload should be:
- Done with a Wikimedia commons Username. If you do not have one, you can kindly Create an account here.
- Self taken and self uploaded;
- Uploaded during March and April 2024;
- Uploaded process with give permission with a CC BY-SA licenseto re-use the image;

There are several prizes up for grabs, both nationally and internationally.

- 1st National Prize - 80000 RWF(Voucher)
- 2nd National Prize - 60000 RWF(Voucher)
- 3rd National Prize - 50000 RWF (Voucher)
