 Comment A few points:

  • The image lacks a geolocation [mandatory].
  • The scope is clumsy since it include the word "Ouwsterhaule" twice. Try rephrasing it. Also, is this the only such memorial in the town, or are there other similar monuments? If there are other monuments, the scope should be reworded so as to be clear which monument it is referring to.
  • There is also no description of the monument, especially as the text is in the Frisian language. May I suggest something like (English version): "Monument at the Ouwsterhaule cemetery in the Netherlands commemorating Jetze Veldstra who died at Neuengamme on 17.1.1945 while fighting the German occupation. The burning torch represents the fire of resistance while the wreath is a sign of mourning. The text on the monument is in the Frisian language. "

answer The description of the monument is under the photo (3rd line no. 218) is the only war memorial in the village. There is a stone in the woods near a dropping field.

This is an image of a war memorial in the Netherlands, with number: 218. --Famberhorst (talk) 06:25, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
