Upload template date field is restrictive and unclear

With the upload books only the year of the publication is known, so I specify the accurate year with a fictitious month and day because the template design requires all three as in yyyy-mm-dd.

Related to the date issue, I noticed that a multitude of uploads use the upload date instead of the creation date of the original. This should be clarified on the template, preferably near the date field.— Ineuw talk 10:43, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

I'd just put in the year and then just use 01-01, then change/edit out the date and replace it with {{Circa}} after it has been uploaded. Bidgee (talk) 12:31, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

You can use the buttons next to the date field to use plain text input instead of the date picker (calendar). Matma Rex (talk) 20:58, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Selected licence changes automatically to CC0

Hi! I would like to report an error in Upload Wizzard: On Windows 7/Firefox when licence is selected for multiple files when uploading multiple images the licence information automatically switches from CC BY SA 4.0 to CC0. This is especially annoying when uploading. Fix this bug please, this is deeply demotivating for uploading users, as they seem that Commons is forcing them to use different licence than they wish to. Allow User to delete his own uploads

I uploaded an image file. I wrongly placed the lengthy description as the file name. I wanted to delete it and upload with proper name. Alas, I wasn't allowed. Need to wait in-Queue in the deletion-log.

So, please Allow User to delete his own uploads. This is a logical step. Italic text
