Bug: identical names messes things up
When using two time the identical name for two files in the Upload wizard, it tries to upload both to that name. The first is uploaded as broken old version, the second as new version. The hash is from the old one preventing to upload it again. Look here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sternwarte_Bogenhausen-Teleskopkupel-01.JPG

Assistant d'import
Bonjour, Lorsque j'importe une photo, le téléchargement se fait correctement, mais ensuite plus rien. Impossible de passer à l'étape suivante (celle des droits accordés). La seule possibilité que j'ai, c'est d'importer d'autres fichiers, rien de plus. Bug ou je rate qqchose ? Sachant que j'ai déjà pas mal de fois importer des photos pas plus tard que dans la semaine et que je n'ai jamais rencontré de problêmes. Guiguilacagouille (talk) 11:44, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

No next button
My image uploads, but then nothing happens. It doesn't move to the next step and there is no button or link for me to click to move me to the next step. I can remove images or add more but nothing else. I realize this may be a compatibility problem with my browser (IE 8) but my poor old computer can't user a higher verson and doesn't have room for a second browser. Hochlade Wizard für den Wettbewerb funktioniert nicht!
Wenn ich mit diesem Wizard eine Datei hochladen möchte, dann kann ich zwar im ersten Schritt eine Datei auswählen und einfügen (auch mehrere), dann geht aber gar nichts mehr, das heisst die weiteren Schritte Lizenz auswählen usw. sind blockiert und das Ganze funktioniert gar nicht. Gibt es eine andere möglichkeit (z.B. mit normal hochgeladenen Bildern am Wettbewerb teilzunehmen?) - so ist das ziemlich Kacke ... Possible bug

The Upload Wizard doesn't work in Internet Explorer 8

Проблемы загрузки файлов
Я всё делаю, как указано здесь: http://wikilovesmonuments.ru/howtoupload/ , после того как загружаю фотографии - кнопки "Далее", "Next" нет, та как ничего не получается - перехожу по ссылке: "Вернуться к старой форме" -> "полностью моя собственная работа" (а фотографии загруженные по ней участвуют ли в конкурсе?) и там получается загружать фотографии (я пока только одну загрузил по ссылке "Вернуться к старой форме"-> "полностью моя собственная работа"),
Вопрос - почему по старой форме получается загружать по одной фотографии, а по форме "Местер Загрузки" (https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UploadWizard&campaign=wlm-ru&uselang=ru&id=3610002000&description=) ? Tsary (talk) 19:07, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

- The Mediawiki software's ability to correctly detect the file type is really beside the point. Wikimedia Commons wouldn't accept Microsoft Word files even if bugzilla:38432 were fixed. There are several reasons for this:
- Microsoft Word files typically consist primarily of text. Wikimedia Commons is a media repository. We primarily host media files: images, video and audio. See Commons:Project scope/Summary.
- Microsoft Word uses a non-standard, proprietary legacy file format. Commons only hosts free content in free file formats. See Commons:File types.

Выдаёт ошибку "Внутренняя ошибка: не удалось определить, успешно ли завершилось копирование", повторно файл загрузить не позволяет, пишет, что уже есть файл с таким именем. Пожалуйста, подскажите,опубликован ли файл в этом случае? GaliSS (talk) 19:03, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
why "painting"?
"Faithful reproduction of a painting that is in the public domain". This should be changed as I feel as though I'm lying every time I upload a drawing, engraving or book-cover that is out of copyright. It's not just paintings that come under PD-art. Paul Barlow (talk) 10:00, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

- {{PD-100}} is actually a redirect to {{PD-old-100}}. Use that template directly, and it should work. (The Upload Wizard detects valid licenses by checking if the template is in Category:License tags, but redirects are not categorised; see bugzilla:40920.) —LX (talk, contribs) 11:09, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
Assistant d'import et liste de suivi
L'ancien formulaire de chargement des photos contient une case "Suivre ce fichier" grâce à laquelle nous pouvons placer la photo dans notre liste de suivi. Il est dommage que cette possibilité ne soit pas prévue dans le "nouvel" assistant d'import ! Nous devons chaque fois aller le faire manuellement par la suite, au risque d'oublier ! проблема решена переименованием файла. Система не принимает название типа "Chufut-Kale". Всё работает отлично, спасибо!

Solo nome file.
Sarebbe molto utile un campo per selezionare solo il nome del file, senza il codice di formattazione. Questo serve per tutte le tabelle/infobox dove va indicato solo il nome. Selezionarlo da sotto la miniatura delle foto è piuttosto scomodo. Awd (talk) 09:17, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
