Impedimento para recarregar

Scomodo

I 2 campi con il codice wiki e html non sono sufficiente per l'utilizzo dell'immagine, perdi più il testo non è selezionabile solo in parte. Spesso l'immagine viene utilizzata solo con il suo nome (ad es. per inserirla in un infobox oppure in una gallery). Mi tocca selezionare tutte le volte in nome del file sotto la miniatura ma spesso selezionando quello si selezionano anche altre parti della pagina. Awd (talk) 08:08, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Upload from ipad

Probably asked before, sorry can't find it anywhere.

How do i upload to commons from my ipad1  ? Looks to me it is not possible, or is it?

It is not possible to upload files from iOS versions of the Safari web browser prior to iOS 6. If you try to access the Upload Wizard using a browser that is not capable of uploading files, you should be getting an error message that informs you of this, and like the message says, it's a limitation in Apple's software and not something that Commons can affect. The limitation applies to all websites and not just to Wikimedia Commons. —LX (talk, contribs) 13:29, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

upload two images with the same name

I uploaded two images with the same name (title, not filename) and now i have messed things up:

Allow renaming

The old form allowed telling Wikimedia Commons to use a different name (which in this case I was relying on). The new one requires the uploader rename it on their own machine first. Superm401 - Talk 05:57, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Redirects with templates don't work

When uploading File:Reset password en wikipedia proposal only email.png, I tried to enter {{Wikipedia screenshot}} using the manual wikitext option ("Another reason not mentioned above"). The UploadWizard wikitext preview worked fine, but it would not submit (it gives "This does not seem to be valid wikitext, or does not contain a license."). When I changed it to {{Wikipedia-screenshot}}, it worked, indicating the problem is probably redirection-related. Superm401 - Talk 04:16, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

I keep getting errors with titles etc. and I can't fix it. I wind up having to download a second time. This has happened almost everytime I have tried to download photo's. What is wrong? tim

Public domain

On the "release rights" page, "Another reason not mentioned above" should allow pd-self and pd-user tags. I was attempting to upload a derivative work created by another user who tagged their work as pd-self; I may be incorrect, but I believe tagging it as CC-0 would not be acceptable under the circumstances. In any event, the wizard should allow you to override and upload anyway (with appropriate "Warning: this might cause your images to be deleted if you're not careful to put the right tag on!" messages) for cases like this where an acceptable tag is not recognized instead of making the upload process come to a dead stop and forcing you to go back add the right tags after upload (which is pointless considering the upload wizard could be doing this for you if it were slightly less stupid about the tags). —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 05:03, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

How do I cancel?

You could always just click out of the page, but if you wanted to cancel only some uploads out of multiple total, I see what you mean. There should be an "X" button for each upload that one could press to cancel that upload. Jsayre64 (talk) 16:28, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
