I always run into misleading names and if I get filemover rights I would like to help move files to make them into appropriate file names so it would be easier for people. I would also like to remove any inappropriate names and use this opportunity to make files more sense and easier for people to search it up Thank you. I would like to use this tool to move/ rename my own uploaded images and as well as other users request made on IRC and commons too. I generally upload self-captured photographs and free images from Flickr to commons as well as English Wikipedia.  Comment @Billinghurst: has previously removed the filemover flag from this user and has ignored three requests for it to be returned. Hence, Billinghurst's input would be useful in re-granting of right (to be honest, given Matsievsky requests, I'm not sure they properly understand renaming criteria). I am working in different projects for commons and Bengali Wikipedia. I majorly upload photographs in Commons, it would be extremely helpful for me to get the file mover permission to organise the images in Commons and other user request or correcting the naming.I have been requesting for the rename of files for a long time and I know the importance of it. Been editing for over two years and made over 50 successful rename requests. This is not the first time I'm going for the right but this time, I'm sure I'm more experienced with my 600+ edits. I am pretty aware of THOSE requests made an year ago. For all here, do I not have experiences with file moving? Just because of that one editor who even created a page in meta wiki under the epithet HAT COLLECTOR THE HERALD, I gave up my all user rights in every wiki, save en-wiki, where I was trusted by my colleagues. Hat collection DONOT include using your right, it mean you are just collecting userrights without wearing them, which I never do. I have made scores of rename requests since my last time request and NONE have been rejected. Category:Aichi prefectural road route 43 has photos taken while under construction. That would make sense to me. The other ones not so much. We might loose some information given by the filename only. Just my 2cents. Otherwise I am not opposed to grant the FM bit. Charidri has many edits all over the board sysop on beta. Because, these fileneme is abuse(誤用). To correct by oneself work. Those are an example of activity. Because I wrote it as "to harmonize the file names", did a discussion become complicated?  Oppose: Even if there's a language barrier, I don't think anyone responding "I'm very tired with a barrage of questions... Please, immediate granting..." to such a basic justification request should hold this right. Regarding the harmonisation of filenames, our guidelines speak a very clear language. Is the any admin interested in granting me file mover user right (and other rights) on Wikimedia Commons? Well, I am a regular editor on English Wikipedia from the republic of India and have made nearly 7000 edits. Currently, I have OTRS membership, file-mover, autopatrolled, pending changes reviewer and rollback right on English Wikipedia. I will use this right to move/rename files as per the requests made at IRC and OTRS system. In addition, I upload a lots of pictures on English Wikipedia but due to lack of rights I do not prefer Wiki Commons, I think this right will definitely assist me in contributing to Wikipedia.
