Rationale, discussion and results
[edit]Single-purpose accounts related to "Lauwiner Empire" hoax.
Alastrina Leftwich (active 2016-05-03 to 2017-05-19) made several related uploads and ten edits on English Wikipedia. Most of them have been deleted, but based on available diffs, they were related to the hoax. (LE in "LE Enterprises & Co" standing for "Lauwiner Empire".) Although they have no edits there, the account was created through German Wikipedia, which makes sense as the user appears to be from Switzerland based on the involved IP addresses. I'm expecting this account to be stale, but including it for completeness and behavioral reference.
Andry Melnychuk (active 2017-06-03 to 2017-06-14) made a related upload. Apart from missing an attached account on simple.wikipedia.org, there are attached accounts on the same projects as for the suspected master. Like the suspected master, the user seems eager to sweep notices from their talk page under the rug. Expecting this one to be stale as well.
Michael Chabot (active 2017-06-14 to 2018-06-06) made several related uploads, attempted to sweep problems under the rug, commented on Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Michael Chabot after it was blanked out by 178.197.235.52, was blocked on Wikidata and requested unblocking (which was refused).
212.28.152.194 (active 2018-06-04 to 2018-06-05) blanked out some instances of "fictional" from related media, created Category:Lauwiner Empire and linked it to Wikidata item Q54806194, which has since been deleted. (I can't see who created it, but I suspect it might have been "Michael Chabot".) Swiss IP address.
178.197.233.14 (active 2018-06-04) made a single edit to Category:Lauwiner Empire. Swiss IP address.
178.197.235.52 (active 2018-06-04 to 2018-06-06) edited Category:Lauwiner Empire and blanked out the contents of Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Michael Chabot.
Alfred.Delmore - Lauwiner Empire (active on English Wikipedia 2018-06-10 to 2018-06-11) made 64 edits to turn his user page into a fake article using files uploaded by "Alastrina Leftwich" and "Michael Chabot". Note the period in the username. Admitted on Commons:Categories for discussion/2018/06/Category:Lauwiner Empire this nonsense.
Edward Harrison 72 (active on Wikidata 2018-06-12 to 2018-06-13) created wikidata:Q54936010.
Steve.Hudgens (active 2018-06-13) made several related uploads, blanked out problem tags and instances of "fictional" from Category:Lauwiner Empire (and made an unblock request on meta despite not being blocked there). Note the period in the username.
Parzival.Knight (active 2018-06-16 to 2018-06-17) made a few token edits before jumping right into Commons:Categories for discussion/2018/06/Category:Lauwiner Empire to defend it, blanking out instances of "fictional" from the category, and adding related media to de:Gedenkmünze. Note the period in the username.

- Thank you! Not as many stale accounts as I thought there would be, and I rather expected Edward Harrison 72 not to be possible for Commons checkusers to investigate.
