I'm a year long active in the German Wikipedia, since then I upload images to Commons. At the middle of the year I started to look through the latest uploads and tag copyvios, correct obvious mistakes in image descriptions and warn the user about problems with their images. Since I'm trusted user (verify) I review Flickr images which cannot automaticly and notice the Flickr uploader about it.
At the German Wikipedia I do the same with the images there as a trusted "DÜP"-person (as Forrester, the founder). I wasn't active on Commons to clear the backlog of unlicensed images there but start now to help here again.
I realised how useful and a huge relieve for the current sysops it would be if I'd help clearing the backlogs. (which is very huge since the last weeks and months) ~/w /Talk 14:38, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

strong Oppose sorry, wuzur, you're a good guy, but you are not ready now. You nearly never use edit-summarys (if they are not done by a script or somehow automated) and your edits do not show the necessary knowledge of commons for me.
