AVRS has been around Commons for a long time and while I didn't know him back them, recently I've noticed him showing up alot. He does alot of great (and tedious) work. He also pops up on IRC rather often to notify us of Copyvio work, which I personally enjoy seeing. When I see something he's tagged for copyvio, or something he mentions on IRC - I fully trust that he is correct. - I've assumed good faith and asked the user if she was the author / copyright holder. She responded affirmatively and asked what she had to do to avoid deletion. According to Rama, she later confirmed it with an e-mail to OTRS ([1]). Postmortem
Thanks to everyone who voted or commented, or was going to but didn’t get to do it.
A special thanks to those who deleted the obvious copyvios I tagged or mentioned on IRC instead of having deleted them myself.
If I do something wrong or stupid, and don't revert it, please tell me (IRC or talk page, whichever works best; e-mail is less likely to be noticed immediately) — and if it is night here (UTC+3 or +4), please remind me of that, I might be sleepy and unable to stop doing the undone.
