Dark corners
,
A lot of images taken with Category:Taken with Olympus XA have dark corners and a overligthed middle. It is not en lens defect as pinhole cameras wirhout lenses have the same problem. Its physics: There is less ligth coming trougth a diafram hole from if it comes at an angle. Good lenses correct this problem. Is there a way or tool to correct the images digitaly?
I am thinking of a photoshop filter with differential level adjustment between the middle and the corners. But is this posible?Smiley.toerist (talk) 10:34, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Smiley.toerist: Can you use the Lens Correction Vigenetting option? -mattbuck (Talk) 11:32, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- I only have an old version of photoshop: photoshop elements 10 (on CD-ROM). It does not even mention 'Lens Correction'.Smiley.toerist (talk) 13:09, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Quality Image evaluation for SVG illustration
I recently submitted an illustration of the Cherub with Chariot Faberge egg for consideration as a Quality Image here but no one seems to know what to do with a Quality Image candidate that is not a photograph (!) and the image has not been reviewed since it was posted. If you have a background in SVG or vector diagrams or illustrations, please consider visiting the nomination and expressing an opinion. Thank you. KDS4444 (talk) 04:29, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
