Stitch pieces of a large image together
Hi, I would like to upload this image to Commons in its highest resolution (which you can access by clicking the zoom button). However, in the zoom window the image actually appears to be put together using a series of smaller images placed within a grid. The more you zoom in, the greater the number of constituent images and the better the resolution. This is a piece of art from the 16th century. Would it be possible to create a single image of the highest possible resolution for upload here? Thank you. (FWIW, here are the two low-res images we have currentlyː 1, 2.)--Cpt.a.haddock (talk) 18:18, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

I would like to nominate File:SteelDetail(2D-Truss).pdf for Feature Picture on the German or English Wikipedia and would like to get some feedback before nominating.
- Reasons why I think it is worth a Featured Picture
- Encyclopaedically relevant information content
- Is of a high technical standard: uses exclusively Vector graphics; the PDF can be printed in scale (1:10), which is part of a [[:|plan]]
- Is in my opinion among best work in
- Articles in which this image appears
