- Question did you make the figurines yourself or is this a derivative work of someone else's artwork? If the latter, what's the copyright status of the original in the US/the source country? Compare COM:TOYS … --El Grafo (talk) 09:03, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment El Grafo I added licensing and copyright information to the image page. Catrinas and catrines are an offshoot of Mexico´s depiction of death as a living skeleton and found their maximum splendor under the creations of José Guadalupe Posadas at the beginning of the XX century in Mexico. These figures are part of the folklore and can hardly be considered original pieces. --Tomascastelazo (talk) 16:08, 8 July 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose I do think it's quite cool, but on the whole I don't feel the technical quality (notably the DoF) is good enough for such a studio shot.--Peulle (talk) 18:25, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose because, quality aside, this image sort of trivializes sexual harassment. Daniel Case (talk) 14:57, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Daniel Case There is a fuzzy line when it comes to the question of quality, on the one side opinion being one, and everyone has an opinion, and on the other there are qualitative aspects that are measurable to a degree. However, what really strikes is how you seem to oppose a photograph for a moral reason. If the image does, as you say, trivialize an ethical issue, well, then, that in itself is a motive to use as an example of trivalization and therefore an effective image. However, as photographers it is not necessarily our job to judge over this or that issue, but to record the image and let the image be used to illustrate a phenomena, for good or bad. That is not to say that as a person one cannot take a position, for one way or another, by choosing a subject we choose sides, but we cannot forget that sometimes terrible images result in good consequences [[1]] . --Tomascastelazo (talk) 23:17, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose Per Peulle, except I don't find it cool. Not a great piece of art -- Basile Morin (talk) 09:30, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Well, it is not a piece of art, it is a craft object that depicts or reflects a mindset and a cultural approach to death and sexuality and humor. --Tomascastelazo (talk) 16:11, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
