- Neutral The composition does not convince me, cloudy sky that generates a boring sky, takes too far from the main subject, too many tourists confuse the scene. I don't know if the main subject is the train or the tourists photographing the train --Wilfredor (talk) 14:40, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- Weak oppose Sorry but per Wilfredor. I think it's actually a really nice shot and it must have taken a bit of planning to be there when the train was just passing. But the weather conditions were not kind to you and they have created a very dull, flat light. I wonder whether the picture would be improved with a bit of fine-tuning to increase the contrast. Cmao20 (talk) 15:27, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- Neutral per Cmao's oppose; I think it might be fixable with more contrast. Daniel Case (talk) 06:31, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Hmmm... I think this would work better as an event shot (Hey! The train is coming to the bridge, let's go and greet it!) focusing on the train and the people, rather than as a wide landscape shot. Could perhaps be cropped to show this. Note added. What do you think? --Cart (talk) 21:29, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Actually my purpose was a picture in "Kabelleger style". But thanks for suggestion anyway. --A.Savin 22:51, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- It did remind me of one of Kabelleger's shots. IMO it really is very nearly there, it's just the light is so flat. Are you sure you don't feel like adding a bit more contrast? I had a quick play with it in Photoshop and I think it would convince me to change my vote. Cmao20 (talk) 17:03, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- I think I already applied it very, very generously; let's not overprocess... ;-) And it's true that you cannot do anything about the clouds and the people -- and that's essential. But I had to give it a try. I had shot a similar picture too, with same weather conditions of course. --A.Savin 00:56, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
- A.Savin, to me that image is much better than this nom. It is intriguing, dynamic and it speaks to my imagination. I would absolutely support it. --Cart (talk) 08:54, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
