- Support In the Reales Alcázares, the patio de la Monteira ends with the majestic entrance of the palace of Pedro I of Castile, mudéjar style, built between 1356 & 1366. Around the blue stylized nasrid motto, the text on the pediment is : el muy alto et muy noble et muy poderoso et muy conqueridor don Pedro por la gracia de Dios rey de Castilla et de León, mandó fazer estos alcázares et estos palacios et estas portadas que fue fecho en la era de mill et quatrocientos y dos años (the very high, very noble, very powerful and very conqueror don Pedro, by the grace of God king of Castile and Leon, gave the order to build those Alcazares, palaces and covers, and this was accomplished in the year 1402). - Neutral Not bad, but I find the lighting a bit flat. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:06, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support Wonderful details on the sunny parts. It is very unfortunate that much parts under shadows. JKadavoor Jee 06:56, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
- . For King of Hearts, the light is flat. For Jee, there is too much shadow... "On ne peut pas plaire à tout le monde..."--Jebulon (talk) 18:59, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, there is no conflict between the two. Lighting which is too close to noon will result in flat lighting as well as shadows which cover up the front. If it's later in the afternoon, the lighting will be more dynamic, and while shadows get stronger, they are side shadows rather than front shadows. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:42, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- 16h42 (maybe 17h42) is too close to noon ? The light gives side shadow here, and a bit too much, if I trust Carschten's opinion just below...--Jebulon (talk) 00:56, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- I was going to mention this in my original comment but somehow I forgot. :) It was taken in August, and when sunset is around 22:00, I would say the entire 4 hours on either side of solar noon (13:00) have noon light. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 09:58, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
- I know it is very difficult to avoid shadows unless it is the east or west direction. Morning and evening lights can't help much in other sides. Further, weak lights fail to grab fine details. That is why I suppoted even if the shadows disturb the details. :) JKadavoor Jee 05:45, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

- Oppose bad light because large and too much parts of the image are shady. --kaʁstn Disk/Cat 20:09, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
