- Request Perfect composition but the central bright part seems blown to me while there is still much room on the dark side, so it could be processed at lower exposure IMHO giving a much better contrast. --Kreuzschnabel (talk) 16:35, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

- Support The blown highlights in this case are not distracting to me. --King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 05:54, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

- Comment One of the problems on this list is that a good idea gets copied (more or less) at least three times. The spiral staircase is a good example. Kleuske (talk) 13:01, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that I don't understand what do you mean. This is a very quality photo of the part of monument on the UNESCO list, so why it couldn't be among the featured pictures? --Jirib (talk) 13:20, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- And I highly doubt the Flickr user was going "Hey, these spiral staircases just got FP at Wikimedia Commons, maybe if I upload mine to Flickr I'll also get FP!" --King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 04:22, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
- I think Kleuske is seeing a "problem" where there is none. Spirals and other geometric repeating patterns are pleasing to the eye. That's why the architect used them and why people like to photograph them. We have plenty domed ceilings and nobody tires of them. Or birds in flight. Or portraits...
