Comment I don't wish to receive Thanks-notifications just for supporting an FPC nomination, thanks for understanding. --A.Savin 09:31, 6 August 2018 (UTC) Sorry, I don't understand. The reason of my thanks is not that you support this FPC, but that you take some of your time to consider my picture. Certainly open it, inspect it, check the details at full size, and finally judge it for what it deserves. I'm grateful for this participation, and try to notify it. But if my thanks are bothering you, feel free to disable these notifications within your parameters. Perhaps you would like also to receive thanks for every oppose you give, like for example this one saying the woman is "just ugly" and you'd preferred not to see her. But the reason I don't send thanks for that is simply because I don't share this idea. Even if I totally respect your opinion and don't contest the honesty of your feeling, I can't be grateful for a judgment radically opposed to mine. I'm just neutral in that case, surprised and observer. Divergent opinions are always welcome, but no thanks are never required, especially when the voice is far from the consensus. If there's anything unclear in my explanation, or if I did not understand clearly your comment, feel free to detail and ask, you can use my talk page for that.
