- Info Bidwell Mansion, located at 525 Esplanade in Chico, California, was the home of General John Bidwell and Annie Bidwell. The three-story brick structure is built in an informally romantic version of the Italianate style. Now a museum and State Historic Park, it is California Historical Landmark #329 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. - Weak oppose Beautiful mansion and certainly a high-quality photo, but I find the angle disappointing because the foliage from the tall tree encroaches. I wonder what a photo taken from somewhat further right would have looked like. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:27, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose Technical high quality, but no wow for me because of the tree --Michielverbeek (talk) 19:32, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- Weak oppose I was on the fence about this but ultimately the placement of the tree doesn't work. Sadly the tree's right in front of the building so it's hard to photograph the facade. Buidhe (talk) 03:15, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support Have to confess that I really like it in spite of (or even because of) the tree. Colours are great despite the shadow. --Aristeas (talk) 14:21, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

- Weak support per Aristeas. Has potential to be a winner in WLM 2021 (says this likely juror). Daniel Case (talk) 02:40, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- Probably not WLM 2021 since only photos uploaded during September 2021 can participate. This one is already uploaded. ;-) Perhaps there is another shot from this photo session to upload in Sept. --Cart (talk) 09:14, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
