Union of Romanian Architects Building

[edit]

I hate this, and some of these photos are my own, but as I now understand it, with no Freedom of Panorama in Romania, images that more than incidentally show the modern upward extension of the building violate its architects' (Dan Marin and Zeno Bogdănescu) copyrights and cannot be hosted on Commons unless the architects give the proper release of rights (e.g. via COM:OTRS). I believe that quite a few of these images could be salvaged in part by cropping or possibly by a Gaussian blur that would still show where the mass of the upward extension is located, without showing its details. - Jmabel ! talk 05:09, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

For example, I've cropped File:Bucharest Architects Association 1 - cropped.jpg from File:Bucharest Architects Association 1.jpg and File:Union of Romanian Architects, cropped.jpg from File:20140816 București 244.jpg. I'm pretty certain the inclusion of the modern portion in the cropped versions are de minimis, but if someone disagrees, please nominate those for deletion as well. - Jmabel ! talk 05:49, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
