"However, the Carl Van Vechten estate has asked that use of Van Vechten's photographs "preserve the integrity" of his work, i.e, that photographs not be colorized or cropped, and that proper credit is given to the photographer." That is incompatible with CC-BY-SA. KATMAKROFAN (talk) 20:11, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Keep: This is not a Creative Commons license tag, but a No known copyright restrictions one (Public domain), since these works come from the Library of Congress. Please discusse this in the Template Talk page instead. --Amitie 10g (talk) 20:30, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The template does not have to be deleted. That is not a copyright restriction, as it is not legally binding, but it is only a request. The claim for the things that use the template is: "no known copyright restrictions". Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:53, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Requests such as this are entirely permissable. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 16:53, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
