Per the discussion at Commons:Village pump/Copyright#Arkansas license plate images and related documentation at http://copyright.lib.harvard.edu/states/arkansas/ it seems like this license was created without confirming that it was actually true. Since we have no concrete information on the copyright status of work created by employees of the Arkansas State Government we must assume that they are copyrighted. If that is the case then the 18 files that are using this license need to also be investigated or, most likely, deleted. Majora (talk) 16:00, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- Delete per nom and COM:PRP. If the State of Arkansas wants to make all or some of its products and the products of its employees PD (or some other license we accept), it is welcome to do that. It doesn't seem to have done that yet. — Jeff G. ツ 01:46, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Majora: For completeness, we should include Category:PD Arkansas, all it contains, and Special:PrefixIndex/Template:PD-ARGov/ by name. — Jeff G. ツ 01:56, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Jeff G.: I was going to do those in a separate DR. Do you think it would be fine to just add them here? --Majora (talk) 02:12, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- Those files can simply be tagged with {{subst:nld}} if the template is deleted. --Stefan2 (talk) 11:17, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

- Delete The person who created the template seems to have confused "public record" with "public domain". --Stefan2 (talk) 11:17, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- Delete It looks like the person who created the template thought that the Florida situation translated to other states as well, but it does not appear as though there is any similar rulings to back that up. Carl Lindberg (talk) 22:13, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
Deleted: per nomination. I have nominated the whole category for deletion. . Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 13:33, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
