A template that was apparently copied from en:Template:Image-license. We have enough own templates for licensing, e.g. {{PD-Layout}}, {{CC-Layout}} or {{GNU-Layout}}. There are about 2,000 uses, but most of them are in templates and can be easily replaced, or alternatively we can tag the template as {{deprecated}} and delete it once orphaned. --The Evil IP address (talk) 11:21, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
- Keep though deprecate - my reasoning is that it has been used on many files over an extended period of time, so is required for files viewed through their history. Also as it is used at sister sites, as these files are brought over to Commons they at least retain some format. We should then look to bot these files on a regular basis to migrate them to the preferred licence. — billinghurst sDrewth 05:08, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
