Profile pictures from Alþingi
[edit]- Images in Category:Profile pictures from Alþingi which use the Template:PD-IcelandAlthingProfilePictures template but not Template:PD-old
Photographs in Category:Profile pictures from Alþingi which are not PD-old have been mistakenly uploaded to commons. In actuality there's no law which says that photography from althingi.is is in the public domain, only that laws published by the parliament are ineligible for copyright.
When contacted the parliament gave permission to use these images under restricted non-commercial terms (see a discussion on the Icelandic Wikipedia (in Icelandic)).
(I also didn't have time to properly execute this deletion request as documented, but this should be better than nothing)
